The launch event saw a huge turnout, and the eVTOL student team is now ready to begin the real work of developing the electric flying taxi. The goal is to have the eVTOL aircraft flying for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the team is confident that they can deliver a working prototype in time.

This project is an exciting development for the Sunshine Coast, which has been positioning itself as a hub for sustainable technology and innovation. The eVTOL aircraft has the potential to revolutionise transportation in the region and beyond, providing a fast, efficient, and sustainable mode of travel.

With the support of the University of the Sunshine Coast, industry partners, mentors, and the dedication of the student team, the eVTOL project is off to an amazing start. The collaboration and expertise brought together by this initiative will undoubtedly contribute to the success of the project and the realisation of a sustainable and efficient mode of transportation for the future.
